Horsegram Millet Porridge

Cooking time: 11 mins
Serving: 3 - 4 cups

Ingredients:
Roasted horsegram - 2 tbsn (dry roast the horsegram until it changes the colour slightly)
Roasted Little Millet (saamai) - 2 tbsn (dry roast the millet slightly)
Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tspn
Coriander leaves - few (chopped)
Buttermilk - 2 cups
Water - 2 cups
Salt to serve

For Seasoning:
Cumin seeds - 1 tspn
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tspn
Asafoetida - 1/8 tspn
Sesame oil - 1 tspn

Method:
1. Grab all the ingredients.
2. Grind the roasted horsegram into a coarse powder.
3. Add the horsegram powder, washed millet, fenugreek, water in a Pressure Cooker. Mix well.
4. Close the lid and cook for 5 whistle.Wait till the pressure releases.
5. Open the lid. Cool down completely.
6. Add buttermilk, salt. Mix well.
7. Season with mustard seeds, cumin seeds, asafoetida. Add this to the buttermilk mixture. Add coriander leaves.
8. Serve this healthy diet porridge with shallots or pickle or dried turkey berries.

Notes:
You can add other millets like kodo, barnyard, proso, foxtail too. If you don't have millets you can add rice grits too (kurunai arisi).
